Guest blog: Through Barkley's eyes

It’s a quiet day up in the football offices today. Just hours after Coach Carroll made his announcement official, ESPN is on the TV in the background ready to show the Seahawks press conference announcing their new head coach.

Yet this is also a time for action. As players and coaches wait to hear more news about the hiring of a new head coach, recruiting calls are still being made, film is still being watched and weights are still being lifted. The players can’t wait to get started with offseason workouts.

It has begun already.
